Joachim was the first born of our kittens. He was born on 7th
June 2005 and has the same birthday as the Danish Prince
Joachim. Because of the birthday it wasn’t hard for us to
come up with names for our first litter. – And especially
not the only male in the litter.
We
have
decided
to keep Joachim as we would very much like to see him used
once in breeding in Denmark. Unfortunately he does not have
perfect colour markings but as a type he is very good.
Besides he is the only cream coloured Van in Denmark and we
think it could be interesting to mix his and other colours
in breeding. Joachim also is very happy to be around kids
and is extremely fond of contact with us humans. During the
night he really enjoys a good snuggle under the covers.
In July 2006 Joachim became the father for one litter, and he was castrated after that. He now live his life as a pet with a great family were he is spoiled.
